Family Program Services is designed to give parents and grandparents information, support and the opportunity to explore issues  particular to their needs.  The program is funded by United Way, the County Board of Supervisors, the Department of Education, Muscatine County CARES and the Brookdale Foundation. As a result of this funding, Family Program Services offers child care at no cost for those attending the Program.   The Program offers various groups which address the special needs of both caregiver and child.   The Program is free and open to the public.   Participants do not need to be Y members to participate in Family Program Services.  Participants come from all walks of life including:  new and experienced parents, young and old parents, low-income and high income, limited education and college education, etc. There is a group within this Program to serve everyone including Grandparents who are Raising their Grandchildren.  In addition to the weekly groups, monthly workshops are held on a variety of topics.   Look below for information regarding each individual group, or contact the Y for more information.
